Summer Break Camp Details

Our summer camps are built so that kids can maximize their time learning the ins and outs of the music business. By the end of two weeks time, they’ll be able to perform as a band and have the skills to run sound for a show. For $199 per person (2-week session), they’ll learn music fundamentals and build friendships as they create logos, arrange songs, and learn about bands. They’ll also get the opportunity to create a recording of their efforts. By the end of two weeks with Colorado AMP, you won’t believe what they will have accomplished.

Camp 1 will run from June 3rd – June 14th. Students ages 8-11 will attend from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. and students ages 12-16 will attend from 1 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. We will have beginner and intermediate/advanced programs available for each age group. CAMP 1 SESSIONS ARE FULL.

Camp 2 will run from June 17th to June 28th. Students ages 8-11 will attend from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. and students ages 12-16 will attend from 1 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. We will have beginner and intermediate/advanced programs available for each age group.

Camp 3 will run from July 15th to July 26th. Students ages 8-11 will attend from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. and students ages 12-16 will attend from 1 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. We will have beginner and intermediate/advanced programs available for each age group.

Camp 4 will run from July 29th to August 9th. Students ages 8-11 will attend from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. and students ages 12-16 will attend from 1 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. We will have beginner and intermediate/advanced programs available for each age group.

Camp fees: $199 per student for each 2-week session

Sliding scale tuition and full scholarships available

The camp will focus on students’ formation of bands of 4-8 people where each participant will learn an instrument they have not learned before. By the end of the camp, the students will be prepared to do a performance of 3-4 pop songs.

Music history for the bands that they cover
