We are seeking an on-call Music Instructor to instruct our after-school students and participants on the basics of music, instrumentation and musical performance. We offer students private lessons, group lessons, after-school rock band programs, short-term workshops and performance opportunities in our unique Arvada rehearsal, recording and performance space. You may teach them how to read music or provide instruction on how to play a specific instrument. You must have experience in music education, either as a private instructor or teacher in a school, studio or program setting, and some experience with curriculum development. You should also have some experience as a musician, and a background as a professional performer is a plus. You may also lead after-school education classes.

Position and Schedule Expectations
This is an on-call position that may work between 3:30pm-6:00pm Monday-Thursday, and the occasional weekend morning, depending on availability and organizational need.
Hours may vary from 0-8 hours per week, and are subject to participant numbers and student interest in lessons.
Teaching slots will be allocated through a scheduling system, and available on a first-come basis.
Instructors will have control over their availability and will be able to accept or decline specific time-slots or ongoing assignments.
Hourly rate is $22-$28/hr DOE
