After-School Program Details

Colorado AMP is for kids (ages 10-15) who love music and have always wanted to learn to play in a rock band! Even if they have never played before, participants learn how to play the guitar, drums, bass or keyboard with a dedicated teacher. At the end of camp they will have a professional-sounding show for family and friends at our studio location in Arvada. Plus, this year, all summer participants also get to perform at the Bluebird Theater with area bands on Wed. Aug. 10, 2022!

What Colorado AMP participants get at camp:

  • Tools to better understand music. In addition to playing their instrument, everyone gets some basic music theory, music history and ear training. Participants also receive a workbook that they get to keep after camp is over.

  • Music they are excited about. The group chooses three songs they want to learn and perform together.

  • A chance to meet other kids with similar interests!

The camp runs for two weeks and participants can choose to attend either 9am-12pm or 1pm-4pm each weekday at the Colorado AMP location in Arvada. The cost is $240 and we do have scholarships available so that anyone who is interested can participate! Register below and contact us by phone or email if you have any questions.
