Dustin Olde

Program Director/Board Chairman

Dustin Olde is a graduate of Willamette University where he earned a Bachelor's Degree in Guitar Performance. At Willamette he studied with John Doan, a renowned harp-guitarist; played upright and electric bass in the Willamette Singers, a jazz ensemble; performed as a vocalist in the Chamber Choir and Men's Choir and learned composition under famed composer, John Peel. Dustin also attended Redlands Conservatory of Music where he was instructed by members of the DeFalla Guitar Trio, Terry Graves and Kenton Youngstrom and where he earned a scholarship to play trumpet in the brass ensemble. He also was accepted to, but did not attend, The Boston Conservatory of Music and the San Francisco Conservatory of Music. Dustin is currently a member of the band, Trouble Bound, in which he composes and arranges and plays acoustic and electric guitar, mandolin, banjo and sings background vocals. Trouble Bound has two albums in which Dustin has served as songwriter: 2020's EP, Ash and Blood and 2022's LP, Bridges Burn. He also is a sit-in bass player for The Constant Tourists. Dustin has been an instructor of music for many years and has worked with Altitunes in Denver, The Northwest Academy in Portland, Oregon and he has taught students aged 7 and up since 1996 in pop, jazz, country, rock, classical and more. Dustin has performed both individually and in groups at Portland State University, The Douglas County Fair, Jefferson County Fair, The Headwaters Music Festival, The Colfax Marathon, The Soiled Dove, Cervantes Ballroom, The Bluebird Theater, Herman's Hideaway and many other noted venues.

Ross Sandlin

Ross Sandlin is a multi-instrumentalist, composer, producer, and music instructor living in Denver, CO. He studied performance and composition at Santa Fe University of Arts and Design.
